September 13, 2011, Washington D.C.: The Alliance for US India Business (AUSIB) in association with Dr. D.Y. Patil University (DPU), and State Legislative Leaders Foundation (SLLF) announces the Indo-US Education Conclave 2011 to be held at Westin, Koregaon Park, Pune, from December 5 to December 8, 2011. This first-of-its-kind international education conclave will include discussions on the various avenues of strengthening bilateral educational ties between India and the US, and the educational institutions and universities in both countries.
The conclave will see over top 50 national and state level Indian & US politicians, over top 200 educationists, and many entrepreneurs related to the education sector. The guest list incorporates majority leaders of the state Senate/House, Senate Presidents of state assemblies, speakers of the State House, senior officials from various US government agencies, senior political leaders and administration officials of India, Deans and senior faculty of leading educational institutions of the US and India and corporations and organizations supporting the education sectors.
The agenda includes discussions on education policy issues, US-India cooperation in the fields of education, partnerships between educational institutions and more. The participants would get an opportunity to interact with leaders in education from Indian and the US, network with them, insight to educational reforms and understanding of educational policies in India and the US. The event offers a scope for enhancing the learning experience of exchange students, exposure to world class technologies, and a holistic approach to infrastructure and implementing the best practices and policy recommendations on higher education.
